红桃视频BC is an association of retailers and related suppliers, wholesalers, and manufacturers who strive to provide information and services for members, promote the building supply industry and address issues of concern at all levels of government.
Since 1975 the 红桃视频 Board of Directors has awarded over $303,000 in bursaries to 红桃视频 member employees and dependents of employees. Over the years these bursaries have increased in value and in 2025, 5 bursaries were awarded for a value of $3,000.
The 红桃视频 Bursaries are investments in individuals who demonstrate financial need, exhibit enthusiasm, ambition and all-around merit.
The 红桃视频 bursaries are available to applicants who wish to further their post secondary education and who express a need for monetary assistance, demonstrate a strong personal development plan, career aspirations and goals, citizenship, community activities and involvement and academic achievement. These are ALL聽criteria considered in the bursary selection process.
The 红桃视频 bursary is open to ALL individuals with a variety of academic interests and backgrounds. The bursary provides opportunities for the accredited study of their choice. Bursary funds are intended to assist with a student鈥檚 education related costs. To be considered for a bursary, applicants must have submitted a complete bursary application by the published deadline.
The bursaries are available to employees or dependents of an employee, manager or owner (retail or supplier)聽who are 红桃视频 members in good standing.聽 They are also available to聽immediate聽family including someone’s spouse, parents and grandparents, children and grand children, brothers and sisters, mother in law and father in law, brothers in law and sisters in law, daughters in law and sons in law. Adopted, half, and step members are also included in immediate family.
The employee, applicant or parent, must have a minimum of one year鈥檚 employment with the member company. Applicants must be registered to attend a recognized Post Secondary Institution; university, community or technical college or certified technical program.
Applications are accepted and administered by the 红桃视频 Board of Directors.

Bursary Criteria
Each applicant is assessed independently, and bursaries awarded based on established criteria including:
Applications must be received at the Association office by May 31, 2026. All applicants will be notified of the winners by email in late September 2026.
Selection Procedure
The Bursary Selection Committee is responsible to search for excellence in qualities of mind and in person, and most importantly to determine a financial need.
The recommendation of the Bursary Selection Committee and decision of the 红桃视频 Board of Directors are final and not open to appeals. The Association reserves the right to withhold these bursaries in the event that no qualified applications are made in this academic year.
Bursary Conditions
The bursary may be used for tuition, fees, books, room and board or other expenses associated with a post secondary education. Each bursary winner is completely responsible for making arrangements with, and meeting the requirements for, admission to the post secondary institution of his/her choice, and for ensuring that the institution is a recognized post secondary institution. Bursary winners must be enrolled in a minimum of 10 credits.
A bursary winner must provide 红桃视频 with confirmation of admission, for the coming year, from the institution concerned, as soon as possible following notification of his/her selection for the bursary. A cheque will be awarded, through the sponsoring 红桃视频 member, to the successful bursary winner after all requirements are complete. The 红桃视频 also requires a photo and a 250-word biography from all the Winners for publication in the 红桃视频 News Magazine and on the 红桃视频 website.
